Cari Campbell, Esq., founder of Campbell Legal, is a native of Dubuque, Iowa. She received her Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was at the top of her class in Legal Research and Writing, Business Organizations, Property Law, and Federal Administrative Law, and she served as prosecuting intern for the Dubuque County Attorney’s Office.
Campbell spent the first six years of her practice primarily assisting the healthcare, aging-services, and general nonprofit industries with funding contracts and compliance consulting, and she has served as a Healthcare Compliance Project Consultant for Huron Consulting Group. Campbell is also well versed in performing various legal and growth consultation, including strategic planning, grant writing, strategic restructuring, and board development. She has assisted numerous startups with bylaw writing and achieving 501(c)(3) status.
Campbell regularly speaks at national seminars on topics such as grant contracts and proposal development, diversifying funding streams, utilizing mediation in the workplace, and healthcare compliance “hot topics.” She also is an adjunct professor at University of Dubuque, and is a member of the American Bar Association (Health Law), Wisconsin State Bar Association (Health Law), Iowa State Bar Association, and the American Health Lawyers Association.
In her spare time, Campbell enjoys running, fitness activities, reading, and spending time with her husband, their three beautiful triplet children, and their three cats.
